The council

Our council is comprised of eight members. Council members are appointed for four years. Tartu city shall appoint four council members, one from the Ministry of the Environment, a member of the Estonian University of Life Sciences and a member of Tartu Veevärk AS. The Estonian Fund for Nature, the Estonian Ornithological Society, Tartu Student Nature Protection Circle, the Estonian Green Movement and the Peipsi Center for Transboundary Cooperation jointly appoint two members.

Marit Suurväli, Tartu City Government, Representative, appointed by the Ministry of the Environment

Marica-Maris Paju, Tartu City Government, Representative

Alar Noorvee,  Tartu City Government, Representative

Toomas Kapp, Tartu Veevärk AS, Representative

Terje Tuisk, Estonian Fund for Nature, Estonian Ornithological Society, Tartu Student Nature Protection Circle, Estonian Green Movement and Peipsi CTC, Representative.

Peep Mardiste, Estonian Fund for Nature, Estonian Ornithological Society, Tartu Student Nature Protection Circle, Estonian Green Movement and Peipsi CTC, Representative.

The council organises and supervises the activities of the foundation in accordance to the statute.
